Oh My Aching Back!!!!

Well, as many of you are aware, it is time for my Dad & his wife to sell their beautiful home in Lake Okoboji. We are all very sad to see our home-away-from-home sold to another family. My Dad asked my sister Judy & I to come up to the Lake this past weekend to help with some staging, tree trimming and window cleaning. We accomplished what we set out to do, however, my back is now out. I think the bending/standing/bending/standing of window cleaning did me in.

I have been home two days now, lonely, in pain and drugged up on muscle relaxers. My new obsession is reading the Pioneer Woman's blog. I need a 12 step program!!!! I am beyond obsessed and feel this woman needs to write a book or have a reality TV show. She is the BOMB and I need to find me my own Marlboro Man!

Today, Mary (friend) decided to bring lunch over and just hang out. Jean (roommate/friend) came home from walking her dogs and Yolonda (neighbor/friend) and Sophia stopped by. Who said anything about being lonely???

I just love photographing children. Sophia has been such a great sport and I think you can tell by the photos below, starting to love her job as my subject!

About two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of spending the evening with Charlie Yeshnowski while his Mommy & Daddy were out. Charlie is the son of my dear friend, and adopted niece, Becky. We had a great evening together and I fell in love!
