My roommate, Jean, decided that it was time she bought a big above ground pool for the back yard. Jean, Gus (Doodle) and Sophia (neighbor) have been having such a blast in the pool.
In the last few weeks, we have celebrated Daniel's (nephew) and Mary's (sister) Birthdays, Amy's (sister) visit, Brittany & Caleigh's (nieces from Las Vegas) visit and Dad's (favorite person) Birthday which was today, the Fourth of July.
Due to the pressures of my job, I wasn't able to celebrate my Dad's Birthday with him (and some family) up at Okoboji. I was quite sad about it and decided to spend some time with Daniel. Later in the evening, some friends stopped by which was nice.
