My Canon 5D is here!!! I was able to pick up my camera Wednesday evening, just in time for another big storm to pass through Omaha. Well, the good news is, the camera and I survived the big storm. The bad news, I did not have a memory card for the camera so missed some really great shots of the wall clouds just above the house.

Oh well, glad the pets and I are safe :)

I picked up the memory card and have played around with the camera a bit. There is SOOOO much to learn with this camera so it will take some time.

I have super small hands (my sister would tell you that I have "midget hands") so navigating the camera can be tricky due to it's large size. I am determined to work through any and all challenges and learn how to take great shots.

My roommates dog (Gus, Golden Doodle) and next door neighbors (Sophia and Yolonda) have been great sports.
